HOMO FABER AN ISLAND OF LIGHT VENICE 1>30 SEPT 2026 VENICE, FONDAZIONE GIORGIO CINI

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR ES DEVLIN.

HOMO FABER 2026 — Venice, from September 1st

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Private Preview of Homo Faber in Venice.

I must say, with complete sincerity, that it was one of the most extraordinary experiences I have ever had while visiting an international event dedicated to fine craftsmanship.

Homo Faber, promoted by the Michelangelo Foundation, brings together in Venice some of the finest examples of contemporary craftsmanship from around the world — people, materials, techniques and creations that celebrate a culture of excellence, where the value of true craftsmanship becomes art.

But there was another moment that made this experience even more special.

I had the great privilege of meeting Es Devlin, Artistic Director of Homo Faber — an encounter I consider one of the most significant I have had in recent years.

Her vision, sensitivity and extraordinary ability to explore the relationship between art, craftsmanship, space and culture deeply impressed me.

I am also particularly proud to be a member of Homo Faber and to be able to share this extraordinary world with my clients.

I strongly believe that, today more than ever, choosing excellence means not only appreciating the final creation, but also understanding who created it, how it was made, and the knowledge, culture and passion behind it.

This is precisely the philosophy I have always tried to bring to my own work and to the products I choose to represent.

For this reason, I would personally encourage my clients, architects and everyone who shares a passion for quality, creativity and excellence to visit Homo Faber in Venice, from September 1st.

It is much more than an exhibition.

It is a journey into the world of fine craftsmanship, creativity and authentic excellence.

If you are in Venice, I sincerely encourage you not to miss it.

I am certain that, as happened to me, you will leave with something new to take with you.
